INDIVIDUAL ARTIST
Current Space is accepting individual artist portfolios and project proposals.

We review submissions during periodic programming meetings, so it may take some time before you hear back from us. We truly appreciate your submissions, however due to volume we are unable to respond to each one.

EVENT PROPOSALS
Current Space is accepting proposals for time-based events including performance art, music shows, video screenings, poetry readings, lectures, etc.
​
Proposals should be for a full program. Music shows must include at least one local act (typically 3 total sets).
Include the following:

Description of Event. Please provide enough information for us to understand what the event is and who will be involved.

Link to Work Samples, Website or Social Media Page.
For music shows please share:-
Artist names

If proposal is approved, you will provide the following:

Staffing – for your merch table if you have one. We can provide a table/chairs, but don't have staff to sell for you.

Posters – it's your responsibility to make posters and distribute (we need the digital image at least three weeks before event).
Include the following information:-
Names

Time/date. (outdoor sound must be finished by 9:45pm).

Admission Price
-
"Current Space" and "Enter at 421 Tyson Street" (Our front door address is 421 Howard Street, but this is our back gate, where guests will enter the outdoor courtyard).

We can provide the following:

PA + Speakers and Mics
-
Ticket or RSVP page through our Withfriends page.

We can crop an image or poster for you, but note that the ticket page image dimensions are: 720 x 380px (a narrow landscape rectangle).

Door staff for ticketed events

Social media promotion, email blast, Facebook event (we will add you as a host. Please do not make a separate event).

Bar – we have our own bar and bar staff. No BYOB.

Current retains 30% of the door.

Note that our space for large events is outdoors, so we only book large events in the warmer months. Our typical season runs from mid-April through October 31st. Our normal outdoor courtyard hours are Wednesday – Saturday, though we may occasionally book events on other days.
